Hello ladies, wish you all a very happy new year and I hope and pray that each one of us is empowered in Him through His grace in the coming days.
In this blogpost I would like to speak about the resilience, patience and determination of the Syrio Phoenician woman and the healing of her daughter which is mentioned in Matthew chapter 15 verses from 21-28.
We see how this woman who had heard about the great healer passing through her town, rushed to see him, with hopes of having her daughter who was possessed by a demon, healed. We see how she was unfazed by the visiting crowd and His entourage and followed Him closely requesting Him to look into her case. When the disciples urged Lord Jesus to lend her an ear, due to the commotion that was being created, she just gets turned down by the master healer, saying that she was not one among the people for whom He had come v.24 (He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.").
